Community Events
A major component of bringing our residents together to build lasting friendships are our community events.
Open days, family fun days, community days and more feature regularly within our residential estates creating not only a great excuse to enjoy our well planned open space areas, Villawood events also provide the ideal opportunity to meet your fellow residents.
Providing fun activities for children and adults alike, many of our residents testify to the value of getting out of the home and meeting new friends and other families.

Good Friday Appeal Home Auction & Fun Day
A Good Friday was had by all at Alamanda on 2 April when Villawood Properties and Henley Homes raised a staggering $635,000 for The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne’s Good Friday Appeal with the sale of their charity home.
The bidding frenzy attracted over 500 people who enjoyed the excitement of the Good Friday auction as well as a fun day out with plenty of kid’s activities including a jumping castle, animal farm, face painting and more.
Winning bidders Andry Tanzil & Patesia Widjaja were excited to be a part of the day and scored a great deal at the no-reserve auction, all funds from which will go directly to The Royal Children’s Hospital.
A long standing fundraising project for the Good Friday Appeal, the 2010 charity home at Alamanda Point Cook was a great success. Villawood in partnership with Henley assisted to raise much needed funds for the Appeal and The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
